Reviews for Mr. Yoshida's Original Gourmet Sweet and Savory Marinade and Cooking Sauce for Grilling, Baking, and Saute 63 Fluid Ounces (Misc.) yes this is a great sauce/marinade...but $26!! give me a break...its $6.38 at Sams, and I have purchased at costco too.
Reviews for Mr. Yoshida's Original Gourmet Sweet and Savory Marinade and Cooking Sauce for Grilling, Baking, and Saute 63 Fluid Ounces (Misc.) As others have stated, this isn't a good price, but the sauce itself is amazing! Best way I can describe it is simply a sweet version of soy sauce.
My mom always bought this at Sam's when we were growing up, then for a while we couldn't find it available anywhere. I bought every type of sauce I saw that looked like it could possibly be similar, but I never found any other sauce of this type...
I especially love the sauce with rice.
Reviews for Mr. Yoshida's Original Gourmet Sweet and Savory Marinade and Cooking Sauce for Grilling, Baking, and Saute 63 Fluid Ounces (Misc.) My bro-in-law grills chicken with this brand as the basting/marinade. First time I tasted it, I gave it two-thumbs up! Wish I could find the Terriyaki flavored one though.
